More Info | Trophy Elk Hunts: These Trophy Elk hunts are very limited. We offer 4 early season trophy hunts and 2 late season trophy hunts both of which are by drawing only. During the early season hunt the bulls are still bugling and with archery season being over for a lengthy period the elk are feeding undisturbed and are not as easily alarmed by the site of hunters. We will glass the herds for days and determine where the trophy bulls frequent and set up accordingly for the hunt. We shoot bulls up to 340 on this hunt and overall success is around 65%. This will be a 1x1 hunt. The late season hunt will be 1x1 as well and we will be hunting the late migration bulls. Elk are very skittish at this time and it takes hard work and skill from both guide and hunter to locate and harvest these big trophy bulls. Due to this, there will be an additional guide who's sole purpose will be glassing various areas of the ranch's to help with locating these bulls. These hunts take place on select private ranches in western Colorado. We will hunt over a wide variety of terrain from aspen groves to alfalfa fields, most of which easily accessible to most clients. Hunt will include, 6 nights lodging, 1 meals daily, airport and daily transportation,and exclusive private land.
